European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS) Position Statements and Clinical Guides

In this video, Dr. Margaret Rees, President of EMAS, focuses on the position statement of EMAS regarding critical health issues specific to menopausal women. These primary clinical issues revolve around osteoporosis, recommending a healthy lifestyle, use of estrogens, SERMs and other therapies for this specific patient population. As Dr. Rees notes, use of these agents may vary depending on many additional factors including comorbid conditions and patient need and the clinician should utilize patient specific management and treatment options.
