There are several key nutrients that can be helpful for improved glucose control. One such carbohydrate is a heat-treated amylopectin, which was originally created for children with glycogen storage disorders. Children with that disorder are not able to store glycogen, and now the product can be used for other conditions as well.

It provides sustained slow release of carbohydrates, helping to maintain blood glucose. It also helps with fatty acid oxidation.
